During the past day, July 16, 249 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The enemy carried out one missile strike, using eight missiles, conducted 85 airstrikes, dropping 265 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the enemy used 9,920 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,110 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 31 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 18 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and two other important enemy objects. The total losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,370 people.
Also, four tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, one helicopter, three missiles, 13 ground robotic complexes, 1,879 unmanned aerial vehicles, 489 units of automotive equipment, and four units of special equipment of the enemy were neutralized.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions over the past day, the occupiers carried out one airstrike, dropping two guided aerial bombs, conducted 65 shellings of positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including one using a multiple launch rocket system.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 19 times in the area of the settlement of Starytsia and towards the settlements of Izbystske, Kutkivka, Khatnie, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Radkivka, Vilcha, and Bereznyky.
In the Kupiansk direction today, the enemy carried out three assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces in the area of Kolisnykivka and towards the settlements of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate the Ukrainian defense ten times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Novomykhailivka, and towards the settlements of Lyman, Dibrova, and Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed 23 times towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Pyskunivka, Mykolaivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out one attack towards Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, and towards Dovha Balka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 37 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Hryshyne, Novopidhorodne, Rodynske, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, and towards the settlements of Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Serhiivka, Kucheriv Yar.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice towards Vorone.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 17 attacks towards the settlements of Kosivtseve, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Hirke, and Vozdvyzhivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders ten times in the areas of Bilohiria, Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, and towards Novoandriivka and Prymorske.
