189 out of 198 drones launched by Russia against Ukraine neutralized overnight

On the night of June 3, the enemy launched 198 drones of various types. Air defense forces shot down and suppressed 189 drones; eight hits were recorded across seven locations.

Russia launched 198 drones at Ukraine overnight, 189 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of June 3 (from 18:00 on June 2), the enemy attacked with 198 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Gvardiyske – TOT of the AR of Crimea.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 189 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 8 strike UAVs were recorded at 7 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 7 locations,
The attack is ongoing; enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
