17 killed and 44 wounded in Russia's strike - Zelenskyy sent a message to partners

As a result of Russia’s massive ballistic missile attack on Kyiv and the region, 17 deaths have so far been reported, while another 44 people were injured. The main target of the attack was the warehouses of civilian enterprises; infrastructure, a railway station, and facilities unrelated to the war were also hit—including a brewing company, construction-material warehouses, and civilian logistics facilities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in response to the Russian strike, UNN reports.

As of now, 44 people are known to have been injured in the massive Russian attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Another 17 people, unfortunately, have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones. It was a heavy strike: 24 ballistic missiles, 4 "Zircon/Onyx" missiles, and another 115 drones, a significant number of them jet-powered. The President emphasized:

Ballistic missile interceptors are what could have saved the lives of those killed today. It is very important that our partners understand that delays in their delivery or unwillingness to provide anti-ballistic defenses lead precisely to such horrific casualties and destruction. Partners who are not ready to help more actively with interceptor deliveries right now can help through new sanctions measures. A significant part of Russia’s ballistic missile production is still not under sanctions. New steps are needed from the G7 and the EU, and from everyone who supports the protection of human life. I thank those who are ready to help in precisely this way
