President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced changes in diplomatic directions amid the slow implementation of arms agreements, UNN reports.
I am preparing changes in diplomatic directions. A new quality of work with Ukraine's partners is needed to implement agreements on arms supplies. Agreements that exist at the level of leaders must be implemented much faster and more fully. The United States of America and the agreement on licenses for the production of "Patriots". Europe and our work with partners primarily for the production of our own European anti-ballistic systems, as well as other projects of precisely such defensive cooperation. Also, support packages for Ukraine that were announced but as of today have not been fully implemented.
The President noted that "today the Russians launched a ballistic strike on Ukraine, the main target was Kyiv." He stated that "there was a terrible strike of Russian bombs on Sumy, a missile strike on the city of Odesa." The President expressed condolences to all the relatives and friends of the deceased. "All day long – 'Shaheds' and other strikes, other attack drones on Kharkiv region, on our Dnipro region, communities of Sumy region, Donetsk region, Kherson region, Zaporizhzhia," he continued.
"Between the announcement of a support package for Ukraine and its implementation, weeks should not pass; this is the responsibility of everyone, everyone in the state who is engaged in diplomatic work, primarily. Ukrainian warriors need more means, more opportunities to protect lives, to protect people from Russian evil," Zelenskyy emphasized.
