U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing tariffs on imports of drones and their components. The White House website reports, according to UNN.

It is noted that, from now on, the tariff will be 100% for drones weighing more than 25 kg and for models equipped with thermal imaging cameras. Smaller devices and other components will be subject to a 25% tariff.
The order introduces a fixed 15% tariff on drones and their components from the European Union, Japan, Liechtenstein, the Republic of Korea, Switzerland and Taiwan, as well as a fixed 10% tariff on drones from the United Kingdom, provided that the majority of the hardware, software and technology originate from these countries and the United States
It added that the new tariffs will take effect 21 days after Trump signs the order. At the same time, tariffs on drone components that do not belong to the particularly sensitive category will take effect 180 days after the signing.
