A summit of the heads of government of the Baltic states, Scandinavia and Poland was held in hapsund, Sweden. The participants of the meeting stated the need to consolidate efforts to support Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia. This is reported by The Swedish government, reports UNN.
The heads of government of the two countries unanimously stated the importance of strengthening military assistance to Ukraine. They stressed that their countries are leaders in terms of military support per capita and intend to continue this work. In the coming months, it is planned to increase the volume of assistance, in particular, support for the Ukrainian defense industry and ensuring the supply of ammunition.
We will strengthen our support for Ukraine. Our countries are the largest donors of military assistance to Ukraine per capita, and our support will not weaken. Ukraine must be able to resist Russian aggression in order to ensure a comprehensive, just and lasting peace. In the coming months, we will strengthen our support, in particular for the Ukrainian defense industry, and invest in providing more ammunition for Ukraine. Ukraine's courage and resilience will be supported by strong and continued support from our countries, where military assistance is an integral part. We encourage others to do the same.
The summit participants supported the "Victory Plan for Ukraine", aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace, as well as full integration of Ukraine into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
