"Today, on July 23, regional power distribution companies are applying consumption restrictions throughout the day. Due to the intensified operation of solar power plants, one round of blackouts will be canceled by 14:00 in Lviv, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. From 14:00 to 24:00, three rounds of outages will be in effect," the company said.
It is planned to import a total of 24,873 MWh from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Moldova, with a maximum capacity of 1,251 MW.
In Sumy region, as indicated, there are power outages due to bad weather and hostilities, in Chernihiv region - due to bad weather.
"At night, Russian UAVs attacked a power facility in the northern region. Residential and industrial consumers in certain districts of Sumy and Chernihiv regions lost power. In the morning, about 25,000 household consumers in Sumy region are still without power supply. Emergency repair works are underway," Ukrenergo noted.
