Due to Russian attacks, there are power outages in four regions, the most difficult situation is in Sumy region, where a significant number of residents are without electricity due to enemy damage to energy facilities, NEC "Ukrenergo" reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.
Enemy attacks
As a result of Russian drone attacks on energy infrastructure, the situation in Sumy region is the most difficult in the morning. A significant number of consumers there are without power due to enemy damage to energy facilities. There are also new power outages in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions during the day.
As reported, emergency restoration work has already begun wherever security conditions currently permit. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible.
Consumption
Electricity consumption shows a downward trend. Today, April 22, as of 09:30, its level was 5.7% lower than the day before. The reason is clear weather throughout Ukraine. This leads to the efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding decrease in energy consumption from the general grid.
Yesterday, April 21, the daily maximum consumption was in the evening. The reason for such changes is the cold weather with frosts in most regions, which leads to consumers using electric heaters.
"Given the weather conditions, it is advisable to shift active energy consumption today to the period of the most efficient operation of solar power plants - from 11:00 to 16:00. In the evening hours, the need for economical electricity consumption remains. Please limit the use of powerful appliances from 18:00 to 22:00," Ukrenergo emphasized.
"No restrictions are expected today," the Ministry of Energy reported.
