The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, met with the Ambassador of Latvia to Ukraine, Ilgvars Kļava, reports UNN.
Economic cooperation, in particular in the maritime and logistics sectors, exchange of experience and joint projects were discussed today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to Ukraine Ilgvārs Kļava. He expressed his sincere gratitude for the comprehensive support of the Republic of Latvia and the provision of various assistance. He informed about the situation in the region, in particular, the work of the Ukrainian grain corridor and our ports. The Latvian side is interested in exchanging experience between our countries and implementing joint economic projects
The participants of the event also discussed the possibility of entering into new partnerships with the regions of Latvia.
"We look forward to further cooperation," Kiper writes
Odesa region has become the epicenter of international meetings.
For example, the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, and Iceland recently paid an official visit to Odesa region.
In October, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper , met with a group of members of the Italian Parliament led by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Giorgio Mule.
In May, the governor of Ankara Province of the Republic of Turkey, Vasip Shahin, arrived in Odesa region on an official visit.
