According to the newspaper, members of Identity and Democracy plan to meet with EU allies the day after the French elections this weekend, July 6-7. They want to discuss future factions in the European Parliament.
Several members of the faction are discussing the possibility of joining the new alliance announced this week by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. In particular, Le Pen herself said that her party would consider possible alliances after the elections.

The publication emphasizes that currently the Identity and Democracy faction is on the verge of collapse - it will cease to exist if at least one member leaves.

According to Bloomberg, to be officially recognized, a faction must consist of at least seven countries.
