President Zelenskyy stated at a press conference with Aliyev his readiness for trilateral talks in Azerbaijan if Russia is ready for diplomacy. Ukraine values the role of partners in mediation and mentioned negotiations in Turkey and Switzerland.
Ukraine, as part of peace efforts, is ready for negotiations in Azerbaijan if Russia is ready for diplomacy. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on Saturday in Azerbaijan, writes UNN.
It is very important that we discussed peace efforts as well. For Ukraine, it is very important that Russia finds the strength within itself to end this unjust war. Undoubtedly, we highly value the role of our partners in mediating this process. We shared with the President of Azerbaijan that we are ready for trilateral negotiations. We had such negotiations in Turkey. We had such negotiations with our American partners in Switzerland. Undoubtedly, we are ready for the nearest negotiations in Azerbaijan if Russia is ready for diplomacy.
