President Zelenskyy discussed with Prime Minister Sunak preparations for the first Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, thanked the United Kingdom for a new military aid package, and emphasized the need for the world to force Russia to peace.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held several meetings today on the organization of the first Global Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland in June. He announced this in an evening video address, UNN reports.

"Today, we also have much-needed good news about military packages from our partners - a new package from the UK. Half a billion pounds. We discussed the details with Prime Minister Sunak, and the main thing is to deliver the weapons to Ukraine on time. The missiles are exactly what we need. Armored vehicles that are expected at the front. AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS. And also boats to protect our economic security in the Black Sea. Thank you, Britain," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He recalled that he had also discussed with Prime Minister Sunak the preparation of the first Global Peace Summit.

"It is important for as many countries as possible to participate," Zelensky said.

According to him, the Peace Summit can and should prove that it is not someone alone who will determine how everyone else in the world will live, not someone's stupid power that will determine this, but the world majority - together, on the basis of international law, on the basis of the UN Charter, on the basis of our Formula for Peace, which returns international law to effectiveness.

"I am grateful to every leader, to all political and public figures who are helping us organize the first summit. I have held several meetings on this today - I am grateful to our entire team that is working to ensure that the Peace Formula is fully implemented. There will be a lot of our activity in the coming days and weeks. Together, the world must force Russia to peace," Zelenskyy said.
