President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held meetings with the commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov" Denys Prokopenko, the commander of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartia" Ihor Obolensky, and the commander of the Air Assault Forces Oleh Apostol. They discussed the return of prisoners and the widest possible use of all types of drones, Zelensky reported on Telegram, as reported by UNN

"A very meaningful conversation with Denys Prokopenko. Thank you for consistently well-prepared work and attention to detail. It is important that all adjustments to our strategy for the defense of Ukraine are clearly calculated and verified. We are also working to ensure future prisoner exchanges. We remember our people," Zelensky wrote. 

The President also listened to a report from Oleh Apostol. 

"I am also grateful for the vision of the broader development of the situation at the front and the assessment of key threats," Zelensky noted. 

In addition, the head of state thanked Ihor Obolensky for the development of "Khartia" and discussed key issues that require additional decisions. 

"Of course, the technological advancement of our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, the widest possible use of all types of drones, is a key priority," the President emphasized.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky today held a series of meetings with military personnel, including the commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Biletsky, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Horbatiuk, and the commander of the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi.

Earlier, information emerged that General Oleksandr Syrskyi had likely been dismissed from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that his sources confirm the information and added that news regarding the possible resignation of Syrskyi may appear after the meeting of the Staff, which is scheduled for 16:30.

The General Staff stated that the information about the dismissal of General Oleksandr Syrskyi does not correspond to reality. He continues to perform the duties of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
