The President of Ukraine expects a constructive position from Budapest and is ready for dialogue. The meeting will take place after the formation of the new Hungarian government.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he expects a constructive position from the new Hungarian leadership regarding Ukraine and is ready to meet with the newly elected prime minister at any time. The head of state told journalists about this, as reported by UNN.

According to the president, Kyiv is also committed to mutual steps towards improving relations with the neighboring state.
"I also hope that the Hungarian position will be constructive towards us. We will also demonstrate steps towards them. We must live in peace with our neighbors."
At the same time, the head of state noted that he understands the internal political situation in Hungary after the change of power, so the issue of a meeting will depend on the formation of a new government.
"As for the meeting, I am ready at any time. But I think that the new prime minister, the newly elected one, has internal issues regarding the formation of the government and issues in the European sphere. We are ready in any case,"
