President Zelenskyy discussed with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States preparations for the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, seeking broad representation from Latin American countries and considering the possibility of holding a Ukraine-Latin America summit.

Had a phone conversation with Secretary General of the Organization of American States Luis Almagro. I thanked him for his personal principled position and all the OAS declarations, statements and resolutions in support of Ukraine, as well as for his participation in the Crimean Platform. Discussed preparations for the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland

According to him, it is fundamentally important for Ukraine to have a broad representation of Latin American countries.

They also touched upon the development of relations between Ukraine and this region, in particular the possibility of holding a Ukraine-Latin America summit. We count on the OAS support in this area as well

The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, reported that more than 160 countries will be invited to the Global Peace Summit, which is to be held in Switzerland at the level of leaders . Russia is not expected to participate in the first summit, but it may be invited to the second summit.
