YouTube blocked three channels of the Russian animated series "Masha and the Bear" in Ukraine: the Russian-language, Ukrainian-language, and English-language channels, UNN reports, citing the Center for Countering Disinformation.
Details
The Center for Countering Disinformation reported that all three channels are listed in the sanctions decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, enacted by a Decree of the President of Ukraine.
Blocking these channels limits Ukrainian children’s access to this content and deprives Russia of yet another platform for earning money and exerting hybrid influence.
