Yermak said that Zelenskyy plans to discuss with Biden the possibility of inviting Ukraine to NATO. The president wants to use the last opportunity while Biden is in office.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to once again convey to U.S. President Joe Biden that he still has the opportunity to take an important historical step and invite Ukraine to NATO. This was stated by the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, in an interview with the Karpiak on Suspilne project, UNN reports.
"For our President, there are only the interests of our country. The President wants to talk to Biden once again in order to convey once again that he still has such an opportunity while he is still in office, has the legal capacity to really make such an important historical step and close all these more than 20 years when we have been promised something, but the main thing is missing. There is no simple step - to invite Ukraine to join NATO," said Yermak.
