Journalists asked Kallas about the expected time for the introduction of the 21st sanctions package. The EU diplomacy chief replied that a meeting would take place on Wednesday morning, and "work is ongoing."

Earlier, Kallas reported that the EU has not yet agreed on the 21st package of sanctions against russia.

To a clarifying question about whether there are sanctions that can be adopted against russia outside the 21st package, Kallas indicated: "We have 250 entities, that is, different people, individuals who have been engaged in various activities, so this is a huge list, which I hope we will adopt today."

"As for the 21st sanctions package, there are still some open questions, but we are working to reach an agreement," Kallas emphasized.
