Ukraine ranks 18th in the medal standings of the 2024 Olympics with 7 awards: 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze. Ukrainian athletes competed in 4 sports, showing different results.
On the eleventh day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine competed in 4 sports, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine reported in its telegram channel on the night of Wednesday, August 7, UNN reports.

It is emphasized that in the medal standings, with seven awards (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze), Ukraine ranks 18th.
According to the results of the competition day, our athletes showed the following results.
Kayaking and canoeing: Liudmyla Luzan and Anastasiia Rybachok showed the second result in their preliminary race in the 500m double sculls and directly advanced to the ½.
The 500m kayak four crew of Oleg Kukharyk, Dmytro Danylenko, Ihor Trunov and Ivan Semykin completed two races. After finishing fourth in the preliminary round, the Ukrainians were unable to directly qualify for the semifinals, but did so thanks to their fifth place in the ¼.
Oleh Kukharyk and Ihor Trunov in the 500m kayak double failed to qualify for the semifinals of the 2024 Olympics either in the preliminary round (third place in the race) or in the quarterfinals (sixth place in the race).
Bouldering: Yevgeniya Kazbekova finished the first part of the semifinals, bouldering, in 14th place with a score of 39.5 points. The second part (difficulty) will take place on Thursday, August 8. Yaroslav Tkach qualified for the playoffs with the seventh result, where he covered the course in 5.17 seconds and lost by 0.01 seconds to Frenchman Bassa Mavem. This was also not enough to reach the quarterfinals with the best time among the losers in their pair.
Wrestling (weight category up to 50 kg): Oksana Livach defeated Aktenge Keunimzhayeva of Uzbekistan in the opening bout (10:0), but lost in the quarterfinals to future finalist Vinesh Phogat of India (5:7), which means she will continue her fight in the consolation bracket on Wednesday, August 7.
Athletics: Artur Felfner showed the 15th result in the javelin qualification (81.84m) and failed to qualify for the final of the 2024 Games; Anna Ryzhykova showed the seventh time in the 400m hurdles semifinals (55.65 seconds) and finished her performances at the 2024 Olympics.
It is reported that on August 7, Ukrainians will take the starting line in 6 sports.
