The US State Department will issue limited-edition passports featuring Trump's portrait for the 250th anniversary of independence. The pages will depict the face and signature of the current president.

The United States is preparing a limited edition passport release for the 250th anniversary of independence, which, according to American media reports, may feature an image of President Donald Trump. This was reported by AFP with reference to the US State Department, according to UNN.

State Department spokesperson Tommy Piggott stated that these are specially designed documents for the country's anniversary. At the same time, the official statement does not specify that Trump's portrait will be placed on the passport pages.
Images released by the State Department show a page with the Declaration of Independence, overlaid with Trump's face and his signature. Next to it is a historical depiction of the signing of the document in 1776. According to an AFP source, such passports may be available in Washington as part of a limited run.
The number of new passports has not been disclosed. It is also unclear whether citizens will be able to choose between the standard and anniversary versions. Since a US passport is valid for 10 years, these documents will remain valid even after the end of Trump's presidential term in 2029.
According to the Financial Times, the initiative could be part of a broader policy aimed at cementing Trump's name and image in state symbols and institutions.
