Ukrzaliznytsia gained the ability to track "Shaheds" - what this changes for passengers
Kyiv • UNN
Dispatchers track drone movements in real time to evacuate people or change schedules. Hundreds of trains have already been saved from enemy attacks.

The dispatch service of "Ukrzaliznytsia" has gained access to military air traffic control systems and monitors the situation with enemy attack drones in real time. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Telegram channel of the advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy Beskrestnov.
Details
From now on, in case of a real threat to passengers' lives, people will be evacuated from the train. And if the situation is not critical, the train schedule will simply be changed to avoid unnecessary passenger anxiety.
Beskrestnov emphasizes: if a Shahed drone hits a carriage with people, the consequences can be catastrophic. That is why passengers are urged to move at least 100 meters away from the train during evacuation.
In addition, there have already been cases when a Russian manually controlled drone initially headed to attack an infrastructure object, but, noticing a train, changed its target and attacked it.
In parallel, Ukrzaliznytsia also reported that during the joint work of the company's specialists with the military, several hundred trains were successfully moved out of harm's way. At the same time, passengers mostly do not notice such actions, as changes in the railway's operation are tried to be carried out as imperceptibly as possible for them.
Recall
Due to the threat of shelling on March 29, trains were stopped in the fields for passenger evacuation. A number of flights arrived late after the attack of 442 drones.
