Ukraine is actively building new lines of fortifications, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects the country to have three 2,000-kilometer-long defense lines.
Ukraine plans to create three defense lanes with a length of 2,000 kilometers. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel following a meeting of the National Defense Council, UNN reports .

The Head of State said that on Monday, he had heard a report from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on the pace of construction of new defense lines.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine today showed how the construction of defensive fortifications in the Kharkiv sector is progressing.
It is noted that Ukraine is building fortifications along the enemy's border, a network of strongholds for the Defense Forces, as well as firing positions and trenches.
