"On December 24, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Strategy for Reforming Psychoneurological and Other Residential Institutions until 2034 and the Strategy for the Development of Border Infrastructure with the EU and the Republic of Moldova until 2030. These two strategic documents are also steps of the Ukraine Facility Plan," the ministry said.

Measures of the Ukraine Plan approved by the government:

- Strategy for reforming psychoneurological and other residential institutions and deinstitutionalization of care for adults with disabilities and older people until 2034. An operational action plan for the implementation of the strategy in 2025-2027 was also approved. The document envisages the development of social services and support for people with increased needs to ensure their ability to live independently in the community and prevent institutionalization.

- Strategy for the Development and Construction of Border Infrastructure with EU Member States and Moldova until 2030. The strategy envisages the reconstruction of checkpoints on the border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania, the creation of a network of service zones, and the simplification of border crossing procedures (digitalization and joint control) in accordance with EU standards.
