The Prime Minister of Ukraine discussed with the Vice President of the European Commission the decision of the G7 to provide Ukraine with $50 billion. The funds are to be made available by the end of this year.

Ukraine expects that $50 billion from Russian confiscated assets will be available by the end of this year. This was stated by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis during a telephone conversation reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

We discussed the decision of the G7 summit to provide Ukraine with $50 billion from Russian confiscated assets. This important decision will help us get through the next year. We are grateful to the EU and personally to Valdis Dombrovskis for his leadership in this matter. We expect that these funds will be available to Ukraine by the end of this year
