Ukraine elected to three key ECOSOC bodies at the UN

Ukraine has joined the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations and two specialized commissions. Andriy Sybiha called this a recognition of the state's authority at the UN.

Ukraine has just been elected to several key ECOSOC bodies. As reported by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Ukraine will join the work of the UN Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, as well as the UN Commission on Population and Development and the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development, UNN reports.
An important result for us at the UN: Ukraine has just been elected to several key ECOSOC bodies. This is a clear recognition of our active role and authority in multilateral diplomacy
The Foreign Minister added that Ukraine will join the work of the UN Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, as well as the UN Commission on Population and Development and the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development.
