In Odesa region, a 15-year-old boy brought home an unknown object that exploded when he tried to disassemble it. As a result of the incident, the boy died on the spot. This was stated by the National Police of Ukraine, reports UNN.
Details
The incident occurred today, July 3, in one of the villages of the Safianivka territorial community. The police found that the young man had brought home an unknown object that he had found in a forest belt and began to disassemble it in the yard.
The object exploded and started a fire, killing the teenager.
Firefighters extinguished the fire. The investigative team of the territorial police unit and specialists of the regional police explosive service department are currently working at the scene.
Proceedings were initiated over the death of the child under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the note "accident". Police are establishing the full circumstances of the tragic incident
The police added that the investigation is ongoing.

If you find ammunition, shells, mines, etc. or suspicious objects, do not touch them, but immediately report them to the special line of the National Police "102" or the State Emergency Service "101"
