During the day, 229 combat engagements were recorded, with 40 attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers used over 4,400 drones and 174 guided aerial bombs.
Since the beginning of the day, 229 combat engagements have taken place on the front. The enemy carried out 40 of them in the Pokrovsk direction. Operational information as of 22:00 on 31.05.2026 regarding the repelling of the Russian invasion was released by the General Staff of the AFU, UNN reports.
Today, the adversary launched 58 air strikes, dropping 174 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 4,452 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,213 shellings to strike our positions and peaceful settlements.
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, eight combat engagements took place during the day. The enemy carried out 67 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, four of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the occupiers stormed the defensive lines of our units ten times near Lyman, Veterynarne, Kolodyazne, and Starytsya.
In the Kupiansk direction, the invaders launched three attacks, attempting to push back our units in the areas of Shyiivka and Kupiansk.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian warriors successfully repelled seven enemy attempts to advance near Kopanky, Novomykolaivka, Dibrova, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerne. Four more combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Slovyansk direction, the Defense Forces thwarted four attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Nykyforivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, no offensive actions by the occupation forces were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyniv Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 40 attacks, trying to break through in the areas of Vilne, Dorozhnie, Bilytske, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Shevchenko, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, and Udachne.
According to preliminary estimates, 38 occupiers were eliminated in this direction, and another 17 were wounded. One multiple launch rocket system, one unit of automotive equipment, and five units of special equipment were destroyed. Also, three vehicles, one gun, and one drone control point were damaged. In addition, 183 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried once to improve their tactical position in the Verbove area.
In the Hulyaypole direction, 29 attacks were recorded in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Hulyaypilske, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Rybne, and Varvarivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried ten times to wedge into the defense near Shcherbaky, Bilohirya, Nesteryanka, and Stepnohirsk. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy assault in the direction of the Antonivka Bridge.
In other directions, there were no significant changes in the operational situation.
