As reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, on August 4 at 10:17 a.m., Russian troops likely used "FAB-250" aerial bombs with UMPK against Kramatorsk. One of the strikes hit a residential building in the city center.

Over the past day, according to data from the Donetsk police, two people were killed and eight more were injured, including a child, due to Russian shelling in the region. On August 3, the police recorded 1,224 Russian attacks along the front line and the residential sector of the region. Eight populated areas were under fire, including the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk.
