British center reported an explosion near a tanker
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) center reported that it had received information earlier on Wednesday about a loud explosion near a tanker approximately 95 nautical miles southeast of Aden.
According to UKMTO, all crew members are safe, and no environmental pollution has been reported. An investigation is currently underway. At the same time, it remains unknown whether this is the same vessel that the Houthis claimed had been attacked.
