Ukraine received €2.2 billion from the IMF. The funds will be used for social spending, such as pensions, salaries for teachers, doctors, and other social programs.

The €2.2 billion allocated to Ukraine by the International Monetary Fund does not have a clear link to targeted spending. However, they will be primarily used for social spending, for paying pensions, salaries of teachers, doctors and other social programs. This was announced by Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko during a telethon, UNN reports.

These funds help us finance the budget deficit. Of course, they are not labeled and have no clear ties to the purposes for which they are to be spent. However, given the need to cover social expenditures, these funds will be primarily used for social expenditures, pensions, salaries of teachers, doctors and other social programs

- Marchenko said.
