Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa from the territory of occupied Crimea, killing 14 people and injuring 46, destroying a recreational facility, damaging residential buildings, a service station, a gas pipeline, and emergency vehicles.

Russian troops struck Odesa, killing 14 people, with an Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Defense Forces of the south of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN reported.

"The enemy insidiously attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles, firing Iskander-M missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the missile attack on the city's civilian infrastructure, a three-story building of a recreational facility was destroyed, at least 10 private houses, a service station, a low-pressure gas pipeline, ambulances and fire rescue vehicles were damaged," the Defense Forces of the south of Ukraine said in a Telegram post.

As indicated, the rescuers eliminated the fire. The rubble is being cleared.

"According to the available data, 14 people were killed, including residents of the district, a doctor and a rescuer. 46 people were injured, including 8 rescuers," the statement said.
