The mayor of Ternopil, Serhiy Nadal, said the following on live TV:

An energy infrastructure facility was destroyed as a result of an enemy attack using kamikaze drones. The city was left without electricity. As a result, there were problems with water and heat supply and sewerage. Now the electricity supply has been partially restored. Part of the city is running on backup generators. Power engineers continue to work to restore power supply. In addition, overnight, the utility provided sewerage and water supply networks with backup generators. Some boiler houses are now supplying heating via district heating. That is, water supply, sewerage and heating have been restored

- the official said.

As for water in Ternopil, the answer was given by Volodymyr Kuzma, head of the Ternopil Vodokanal.

He said that cold water supply was temporarily suspended in the city. The reason is that the water utility's facilities were de-energized.

Wastewater at the sewage pumping stations was partially pumped out using backup power supplies - generators. After the power company restored electricity to us, which happened gradually and at some facilities, we resumed the operation of water pumping stations and after a while returned to normal operation

said the director of Ternopilvodokanal.

The head of the Ternopil RMA, Vyacheslav Nehoda, said that they managed to shoot down three enemy drones. However, the other drones were not shot down - they hit the target.
