According to Spotify, Drum 'N' Bass streams have grown by 94% since 2021. The genre is especially popular among listeners under 34, who make up 68% of the audience.

Drum'N'Bass (or DnB) is experiencing a revival - although the music subgenre has always had a loyal following, interest in it has recently grown significantly thanks to new hits.

In a new documentary, Spotify shares statistics based on user data that “the average annual number of Drum ‘N’ Bass streams on Spotify has increased by 94% since 2021.

According to the streaming platform, the top 10 most listened-to artists include Chase & Status, Rudimental, Bou, Goddard, Sub Focus, Charlotte Plank, Skepsis, Hybrid Minds, SHY FX, and Nia Archives.

The most frequently streamed tracks were “BACKBONE” by Chase & Status and Stormzy, “Green & Gold (feat. Charlotte Plank, Riko Dan)” by Rudimental and Skepsis, and “Wasted Youth” by Goddard and Cat Burns.

The growth in popularity is due to the fact that more and more young people are interested in the genre. As noted, 68% of listeners are mostly people under the age of 34.

The future of many British clubs is in doubt
