Ukraine is interested in building three new cross-border power lines to Poland to deepen the integration of the Ukrainian energy system with Europe and stabilize energy supplies after russian attacks.

Ukraine is interested in building three new power transmission lines to Poland, including the Novovolynsko-Chelm, Lviv-Krosno, and Drohobych-Krosno lines. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal following a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, UNN reports.

Ukraine has recently experienced russian attacks on its energy infrastructure. Poland is helping us stabilize the energy system by importing electricity to Ukraine. We have an exemplary case of building a power line from Khmelnytsky NPP to Rzeszow. This deepens the integration of the Ukrainian energy system with the European one. We are interested in building new cross-border lines

- Shmyhal said.

He clarified that the Novovolynska-Chelm, Lviv-Krosno, and Drohobych-Krosno lines are being considered.
