Russian drones reached western regions overnight; enterprises hit in Khmelnytskyi region

In Khmelnytskyi region, a UAV attack caused fires at enterprises; 29 targets were downed. In Rivne region, there were no reports of destruction or casualties.
Russian drones reached western regions during Russia's overnight attack on Ukraine; air defense was active in the Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions, with the latter experiencing fires on the premises of enterprises as a result of the enemy attack, local military administrations reported on Monday, UNN writes.
Khmelnytskyi Region
"At night, the enemy attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with drones. Air Defense Forces were active. There are shoot-downs. As a result of the attack, fires broke out on the territory of enterprises, which emergency services promptly extinguished. No information regarding injuries or fatalities has been received," reported Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, on social media.
He added that Air Defense Forces shot down or suppressed 29 enemy drones over the region's territory during the night.
Rivne Region
An air raid alert was also in effect in the Rivne region tonight, reported Oleksandr Koval, head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration.
"Thanks to the professional work of the Air Defense Forces, enemy aerial targets were shot down. Representatives of the Defense Forces and other services are working on-site. According to preliminary information, people and infrastructure were not harmed," he stated.
