Russian attacks on Kherson on May 16 and 17: a 63-year-old man wounded, a 22-year-old woman has died

A man was wounded due to a drone attack in Kherson. A 22-year-old woman, who was wounded during yesterday's shelling of the city center, has died in the hospital.
On the morning of May 17, Russian occupiers attacked the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with a drone. A 63-year-old man was wounded. Additionally, a young woman who was injured during yesterday's attack on Kherson has died in the city. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The 63-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, as well as shrapnel wounds to his head and torso. The victim is currently receiving the necessary medical assistance.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, added that a 22-year-old woman, who was wounded during yesterday's Russian attack in downtown Kherson, died in the hospital.
Medics fought for the life of the 22-year-old Kherson resident until the very end, but the injuries proved fatal.

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, stated that the humanitarian situation is deteriorating in occupied Oleshky and neighboring settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region. Residents report shortages of drinking water, food, and medicine, as well as power outages.
