Details

According to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro  was shelled and destroyed last Friday. That day, a WHO staff member and drivers were on the warehouse premises, helping evacuate humanitarian supplies. No casualties have been reported so far.

The team managed to evacuate 130 of approximately 300 pallets and leave the site before the attack. The warehouse stored humanitarian medical supplies intended for medical facilities on the front line—primarily WHO supplies for emergency medical care. I cannot fail to say this: attacks on medical facilities must stop. Otherwise, people are deprived of vital medical care. Even in wars, there are rules. One of them is that health must be protected

- the WHO Director-General emphasized.

As a result of the overnight attack on July 19, the UKRTAC plant and warehouses were completely destroyed. All employees of the enterprise survived, and the company plans to rebuild.
