Princess of Wales Kate Middleton apologized for the photoshopped family photo, which refused to distribute the largest photo agencies. She wrote about it in social network X, reports UNN.
Like many amateur photographers, I experiment with editing from time to time. I want to apologize for the misunderstanding caused by the family photo we shared yesterday. I hope everyone celebrating was very happy on Mother's Day
On the eve of Mother's Day in the UK, a picture appeared on Kensington Palace's social media accountsshowing Kate Middleton with her three children: she is hugging Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, while her eldest son, Prince George, stands behind his mother, hugging her neck. It was pointed out that the photo was taken personally by Prince William.
It was the first photo of Kate since she underwent surgery in January. The photo was meant to put an end to speculation and conspiracy theories about the health and whereabouts of the Princess of Wales.
However, it soon became clear that the photo was edited - indicated by several factors, and one of them was the white stripe behind Prince Louis, at the level of his knees. Due to the revealed manipulations, major international photo agencies withdrew the circulated image from their photo banks, and the princess had to apologize.
