Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are working on a new feature film for Netflix, which will be based on real events from the war in Afghanistan. This was reported by the BBC, according to UNN.

The couple's production company, Archewell, is working on a film adaptation of the book "No Way Out" by British Army Major Adam Jowett. The book describes the events of 2006, when British soldiers in the town of Musa Qala in Helmand province repelled attacks by Taliban militants for a long period of time.
For Prince Harry, this topic is personal – he served in the British Army until 2015 and was deployed to Afghanistan twice. The Duke of Sussex previously stated: "I served there. I found lifelong friends there. And I lost friends there."
Oscar nominee working on the script
The script for the film is being written by Matt Charman, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on Steven Spielberg's "Bridge of Spies." Harry and Meghan will serve as co-producers of the project.
This is one of the couple's new projects for Netflix following a change in the terms of their collaboration with the platform. After the previous contract ended last year, Netflix entered into a "first-look deal" with the Sussexes, giving the service priority rights to the Duke and Duchess's new ideas.
