Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked US President Donald Trump for the decision to extend the ceasefire with Iran, while Tehran criticized the initiative. This was reported by CNN, writes UNN.

According to Sharif, the decision was made at the request of the Pakistani side.

Iran's reaction
Advisor to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mehdi Mohammadi stated that the extension of the truce "means nothing."
The losing side cannot dictate terms
Mohammadi also called the US actions "tricks to buy time for a surprise attack."
Earlier, the US announced its readiness to extend the ceasefire amid negotiations that were supposed to take place in Islamabad but were postponed indefinitely.
