The US Vice President praised Viktor Orban's efforts to resolve the war in Ukraine. Vance announced record investments and criticized European bureaucrats.
US Vice President J.D. Vance stated that the Prime Minister of Hungary has done more to resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine than any other leader in Europe. Vance said this during a joint press conference with Orbán in Budapest, as reported by UNN.
Let me be clear: we love Europe. How can we not? We were born on this continent. We love its culture, we love its beautiful architecture and the amazing history of this continent. But precisely because we love this culture and these people, we reject faceless bureaucrats. In Hungary, I truly see real progress under the leadership of a man named Viktor Orbán. I see a trading partner that will bring record US investments
He added that the US has invested more in Hungary than ever before in US history.
I see leaders disrespecting ordinary people - the people of Hungary. I see them disrespecting peacemakers like Viktor, a man who has done more than anyone in Europe to achieve a successful resolution to the war between Russia and Ukraine
