Results of the competition day August 4
On the ninth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine competed in 7 sports. Ukrainians won three medals - "gold" and two "bronzes" in athletics.
Athletics
Ukraine won a double podium at the Olympic Games for the third time in its history: Yaroslava Mahuchikh became the champion with a result of 2 m, surpassing Australian Nicola Olyslagers in attempts.
Bronze for Iryna Herashchenko, who also surpassed four other athletes in attempts, who, like her, stopped at a height of 1.95 m. The Ukrainian shared third place with another Australian representative, Eleanor Patterson, with whom she had identical indicators.
Hammer thrower Mykhailo Kokhan won bronze with a result of 79.39 m.
Iryna Klymets, showing a result of 66.95 m, finished 26th in the hammer throw.
In the 400m hurdles, Anna Ryzhykova finished fourth with a time of 55.13 s in her qualifying heat and will have a chance to compete for a place in the semifinals through the consolation round.
Another representative of Ukraine in the same event, Viktoriia Tkachuk, who finished eighth in her qualifying heat (58.10 s), will continue to compete at this stage.
Oleksandr Pohorilko took 6th place in his qualifying heat in the 400m with a result of 45.71 s and will have a chance to compete for a place in the semifinals through the consolation round.

Iryna Malovichko showed the 24th result in qualification and could not reach the final.
Bullet shooting (25m rapid fire pistol)
Pavlo Korostylov reached the final with the third result (587-17x). Another representative of Ukraine, Maksym Horodynets (584-14x), stopped at eighth place, two steps away from the top 6, who will continue to compete for awards.

Yuliia Biriukova finished 67th in the group race.
Artistic gymnastics
Nazar Chepurnyi and Ihor Radivilov took 6th and 8th places respectively in the vault final.
Canoe slalom (kayak cross)
Viktoriia Us, showing the second result in her heat, reached the 1/4 finals.
Boxing (weight category 80 kg)
Oleksandr Khyzhniak defeated two-time Olympic champion Cuban Arlen Lopez Cardona in the semifinals by a split decision of the judges (3:2) and will box for the "gold" of the Olympics.
