"Today, on August 5, on the tenth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine will compete in 6 sports," the NOC said.

The schedule of performances is based on Kyiv time:

Pistol (25m rapid fire pistol), medals will be awarded

Diving (10 m tower)

11:00 - women's qualification: Sofia Lyskun 

Athletics

11:50 - Women's consolation races, 400 meters hurdles: Anna Ryzhykova, Victoria Tkachuk

Artistic gymnastics, medals will be awarded

Results of the competition day on August 4

On the ninth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the Ukrainian national team competed in 7 sports. The Ukrainians won three medals - gold and two bronze in athletics.

Athletics

For the third time in its history, Ukraine has won a double podium at the Olympic Games: Yaroslava Maguchikh became the champion with a score of 2 meters, beating Australian Nicola Olislagers in her attempts.

Iryna Gerashchenko took the bronze medal, having also cleared 1.95 meters ahead of four other athletes who, like her, stopped at 1.95 meters. The Ukrainian shared third place with another Australian representative, Eleanor Patterson, who had identical results.

The hammer thrower Mykhailo Kokhan won bronze with a result of 79.39 meters.

Iryna Klymets finished 26th in the hammer throw with a distance of 66.95 meters.

In the 400-meter hurdles, Anna Ryzhykova finished fourth in 55.13 seconds in her qualifying heat and will have a chance to compete for the semifinals in the consolation round.

Another representative of Ukraine in the same event, Victoria Tkachuk, will continue to compete at the same stage, finishing eighth in her qualifying race (58.10 seconds).

Oleksandr Pohorilko took 6th place in his 400m qualifying race with a time of 45.71 seconds and will have a chance to compete for the semifinals through the consolation round.

Benchrest shooting (skeet)

Iryna Malovychko finished 24th in the qualifiers and failed to reach the final.

Trap shooting (25 m rapid fire pistol)

Pavlo Korostylov reached the final with the third result (587-17x) . Another representative of Ukraine, Maxim Gorodinets (584-14x), finished in eighth place, two steps away from the top 6 and will continue to compete for awards.

Cycling (highway)

Yulia Biriukova finished 67th in the group race.

Artistic gymnastics

Nazar Chepurny and Ihor Radivilov took 6th and 8th place respectively in the vault final.

Kayak slalom (kayak cross)

Victoria Us, who showed the second best result in her heat, reached the 1/4 finals.

Boxing (weight class 80 kg)

Oleksandr Khyzhnyak defeated two-time Olympic champion Arlen Lopez Cardona of Cuba in the semifinals by a split decision (3:2) and will box for the Olympic gold medal.

"In the medal standings, with six awards (2 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze), Ukraine ranks 17th," the NOC said.
