Due to power outages, dozens of settlements in the Kherson region remain without water. The occupation authorities propose delivering water by tanker trucks instead of repairing the networks.
The occupation administration of the Kherson region once again demonstrates its complete inability to resolve critical infrastructure problems. Instead of repairing pumping stations, restoring power grids, and ensuring a stable water supply, the occupiers are effectively forcing people to live in conditions that more closely resemble past centuries than modern life. This is reported by the Center for National Resistance of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CNR), according to UNN.

It is noted that, due to constant power outages, dozens of settlements remain without water. Instead of addressing the causes of the breakdowns, however, the occupation authorities are offering to deliver water by tanker trucks and instructing officials to check exactly who needs it. At the same time, no systemic solutions for restoring the normal operation of the infrastructure are being proposed.
Particularly revealing is a statement by Vladimir Saldo (the occupation governor of the Kherson region - ed.), that "municipal and social services must see who needs food, water, hygiene products, and assistance with delivery." In effect, this means that people who have already been left without the basic conditions for living must find ways to report their needs themselves, ask for help, and prove that they really need it
It is pointed out that while the occupation administration issues such instructions, residents of the Kherson region remain without electricity, water, and properly functioning коммунal infrastructure.
"Instead of repairing the networks and providing people with basic services, the occupiers are shifting responsibility onto the residents themselves, forcing them to survive and literally beg for what should be accessible to everyone under normal conditions," the CNR concludes.
