Kyiv • UNN
Russian occupants in the Kherson region have desecrated the graves of Ukrainian soldiers, stealing coffins and razing the graves to the ground.
The occupiers in Kherson region are desecrating the graves of Ukrainian soldiers, UNN reports, citing the Center for National Resistance.
Details
According to the Center, the Russian occupiers in Kalanchak (Kherson region) stole the coffins with the bodies of three Ukrainian soldiers who died since February 24, 2022, and destroyed their graves.
At the cemetery in Brylivka (a neighboring community), the occupiers razed 10 graves of Ukrainian soldiers to the ground. Their fate is unknown. Local residents believe that this is revenge for people putting flowers on the graves.
At the same time, the Center notes that there is a possibility that the bodies are intended to be exchanged for dead Russian soldiers.
"This is another crime of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian people!" the statement reads.
