Details
In the temporarily occupied Makiivka, Donetsk region, the enemy military organized an Air Patrol competition, in which schoolchildren were taught to fly unmanned aerial vehicles.
The winner was a 10-year-old boy, which once again emphasizes the invaders' attempts to attract young people to military activities.
This project is personally funded by the president of the terrorist country and is being implemented in all schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The Kremlin is using these initiatives to form a generation of young people who can be used for military purposes in the future, in particular as drone operators or even soldiers.
Such actions are a gross violation of international norms and children's rights. Involvement of minors in military structures is a violation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international documents protecting the rights of children to a peaceful and secure future.
