The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied information about the transfer of the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Vadym Sukharevskyi. Colonel Sukharevskyi continues to perform his duties in his current position.

The information about the transfer of the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vadym Sukharevskyi, is not true. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram, reports UNN.

Recently, Ukrainian mass media reported on the possible transfer of Vadym Sukharevskyi to another position.

Nevertheless, as of today, Colonel Sukharevskyi continues to perform his assigned tasks as the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vadym Sukharevskyi has held this position since 2024, before that he was the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, served in the Airborne Forces and the Marine Corps. In 2014, Sukharevskyi became the first officer of the Ukrainian army to order the shooting of pro-Russian militants and Russian occupiers in the Donbas.

In 2024, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces conducted more than 220 operations deep inside Russian territory. This was reported by Vadym Sukharevskyi: according to him, more than 3,500 UAVs were launched, and more than 15 units of expensive air defense systems "BUK-M3" and "Tor" were hit.
