According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha, Norway is one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine. The aid includes support for the government, municipalities and society.

This year, Norway will provide Ukraine with aid worth about 8 billion dollars. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, during a press conference, reports UNN.

Norway's aid this year will amount to about 8 billion dollars, which makes it one of the leaders in support. Moreover, this solidarity is not only at the level of the government and parliament, but also at the level of municipalities and the entire society. We will never forget this. We are grateful to our Norwegian friends for sheltering Ukrainians who were forced to leave for Norway due to Russian aggression," Sybiha said.
Reminder
Earlier, Reuters wrote that Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said that the country's government would soon appeal to parliament with a proposal to increase financial assistance to Ukraine.
In particular, at the end of last year, the Norwegian parliament agreed to spend a total of 35 billion Norwegian kroner (3.12 billion US dollars) on military and civilian support for Ukraine in 2025 and a total of 155 billion kroner between 2023 and 2030.
