Starting November 7, the Rava-Ruska-Krebenne checkpoint will introduce booking of border crossing times for buses. The eCheckpoint system will now operate at 22 out of 28 checkpoints.

The possibility to book a border crossing time within the "eCherzha" system for buses will be launched at another checkpoint on the border with Poland, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine reported on Monday, UNN reports.

Details

"Starting November 7, international passenger carriers using the Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne border crossing point with Poland will be able to cross the border according to a specific time (slot) booked in the eCheck system. Registration for the new type of queue, called "Scheduled", will start on November 4 at 12:00. The new queue will start moving on November 7 at 12:00," the Ministry said on social media.

Thus, carriers will reportedly have time to register for the updated type of queue in accordance with the schedule. It is noted that the service is available for both regular and irregular transportation.

Scheduled carriers will be able to choose the time slots provided for in the official permit for a scheduled route. For non-scheduled transportation, slots for which no regular route permit has been issued or which have not been used by carriers operating regular flights remain available.

AddendumAddendum

eCherzha is an online queue booking system for international carriers.

"Booking a time to cross the border is already available at 21 out of 28 checkpoints where the eChezha system operates. These are all checkpoints with Romania and Slovakia, 10 checkpoints with Moldova and three with Poland. With the launch of slotting at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint, this number will be 22," the ministry said.
