Negotiations are underway to hold a meeting in the Ramstein format at the level of state leaders. This was stated by MP, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO PA Yehor Chernev during a telethon, UNN reports.
"I know that negotiations are underway to make sure that the Ramstein meeting takes place at the highest level of state leaders. But to a greater extent, it depends on the position of the White House, whether Biden is ready, whether he will be able to come to Europe before the end of his term, before the end of the year. Negotiations are underway," Chernev said.
He noted that Ramstein is now performing more of a coordination function, and there is still 24/7 coordination between states between meetings.
