An accident involving a car occurred on Oleksandriiskyi Boulevard in the city of Bila Tserkva.
According to the preliminary findings of law enforcement officers, the 44-year-old driver of a VAZ failed to maintain a safe speed, drove off the roadway and crashed into a curb, after which the car collided with a WDL shuttle bus that was stopped at a bus stop to board and alight passengers.
The car driver subsequently struck a 53-year-old female pedestrian who was at the public transport stop.
As a result of the accident, the victim sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the Bila Tserkva District Police Department launched a pre-trial investigation (Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
